Rhiana's lament

I hath long to see thee
My passion is for thee
My heart is sick with longing for thee
I dream of a kiss from thee to comfort the sickness and yearning
in my soul of fire dampen by time and patience
My heart longs to be with you
and I have long for merciful death to be with your spirit once more

When I dream of you,
there is everlasting peace
and a oneness with you and God
and the comfort of the Goddess lies with me

I pray not for darkness
but only of your light
I pray to ride with you forever
on our horses by the shores of the oceans of eternity

More than anything else,
I want to be with you and know no darkness,
only light

Rhiana felt trapped

It's no longer a test of strength, courage, or will
At least, not anymore
My longing of your tenderness
make me feel like I'm dying
I watched the medieval shows about knights, castles, and maidens
because they remind me of you
I seek your connection

Each day saps my strength
as I lie in bed
dreaming of you
and wondering what you would say to me

how can one loves a spirit
roaming free
while the other is trapped within
the limitations of the flesh
