A thousand faces
A broken smile
Two eyes, one blind
A heart harden
A shattering of the hourglass
Sands of time spilled
I kicked the glass bottles
Shards stuck in the cement pavement
The stray dogs are howling
The cats yeowled with wide, sharp jaws
The streets are rain-slicked
Covered with mud-slime
That frictioned against my toes
Under my pair of sandals
I have a thousand faces
All with broken smiles,
Two eyes, both blind
A heart harden as it succumb to weakness
A shattering of the hourglass thrown to the wall
Sands of time spilled down from the gravity
I have a thousand faces
that is reflected in the rain puddles
thick with mud and slime.
As I walked into the puddles,
my sandal's soak, my soles wet.
Ripples appeared, faces distorted
crushed under my feet.
In the darkness of the storm,
my heart blackens like the sky,
flashing with the wrath and fury of thunder.
And I finally have one face.
A broken smile
Two eyes, one blind
A heart harden
A shattering of the hourglass
Sands of time spilled
I kicked the glass bottles
Shards stuck in the cement pavement
The stray dogs are howling
The cats yeowled with wide, sharp jaws
The streets are rain-slicked
Covered with mud-slime
That frictioned against my toes
Under my pair of sandals
I have a thousand faces
All with broken smiles,
Two eyes, both blind
A heart harden as it succumb to weakness
A shattering of the hourglass thrown to the wall
Sands of time spilled down from the gravity
I have a thousand faces
that is reflected in the rain puddles
thick with mud and slime.
